It’s National Tequila Day, and we decided to make you something delicious, something quirky, and something with tequila! The Tequirky Sunset Spritzer is not just another tequila sunrise. This delicious concoction is a combination of rosemary simple syrup, blood-orange juice, and of course, tequila. These are perfect for those warm summer nights when all you want to do is kick back and listen to some tunes, maybe even a little Desperado.
Ingredients
Makes 1 generous drink
1 ½ oz. of tequila
1 oz. of rosemary simple syrup
2 oz. of blood-orange juice
Seltzer
Sprig of rosemary for garnish
Lemon twist for garnish
Combine tequila, rosemary simple syrup, and blood-orange juice in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and pour into a chilled scotch glass over ice. Top off with seltzer. Garnish with lemon twist and rosemary sprig.
